What is the Purpose of the A/V Ministry?
 Use Immanuel’s changeable outdoor signage to reach out to the un-churched with enlightening, thought-provoking and entertaining sayings and information that draw readers to want to know more about Christ and Immanuel.

What are the Key Responsibilities of the A/V Ministry?
  • Develop/obtain appropriate sayings and information
  • Change the Plum Grove sign at least on a weekly basis
  • Change the sign near the flag pole, less frequently
Why does your Ministry Matter?
The goal of the signs are to communicate Jesus and His love, helping people connect with the Good News. They may provide the only timely and relevant Christian messages seen by a passing motorist or pedestrian that day

Why Do You Love Your A/V Ministry? What Difference Does it Make? Why Does It Matter?

Because it provides an opportunity to share Christ, help people have a nice day and bring a smile to their faces.

What Kind of Volunteers are Especially Needed Right Now?

 

We are very interested having more people join our ministry!  Please take a couple of minutes to watch our video in the upper-left corner of this page.As you can see from it, there are a variety of important and significant places (positions) to serve God within our ministry. If you happen have technical experience or knowledge, that’s great. But if not, that’s fine too, we’d love to teach you and allow you grow into a position (or two) at your own pace. Our serving times are both scheduled and flexible. Give us a call!

How Often Does the A/V Ministry Team Serve?

The signs need to be changed on a weekly basis.

 

What are the Time Requirements?

It only takes about 1-2 hours to update the signs.

Is There a Job Description?

Not at this time.

Will you Provide Training?

Yes. Training for accessing the signs and letters and placing and removing the letters on the signs will be happily provided. Training is also available for maintaining the Excel list of potential list of sayings.

Are There Any Special Requirements to Serve in this Ministry?

Helpful to enjoy the English language and the Bible, and be alert to potential sign sayings. Working knowledge of Excel, woudl be helpful, but not required.
