Come Mother’s Day, there’s an obvious group of women to thank and honor of course. At Immanuel, there’s also another, less obvious, group – the Altar Guild! Each year, the Altar Guild orders hundreds of roses and then gets together to carefully package each one in its own cellophane bag, ensuring a special presentation. And that presentation is special – on Mother’s Day weekend, every woman attending Immanuel gets a rose. The roses – and the smiles – add a festive touch to weekend. So – thank you Altar Guild!
