Good Samaritan Ministries

Souper Bowl 2025

Now through February 9, Good Samaritan Ministries is collecting cans of soup and other canned goods for the food pantry.  Donations can be dropped off in the green bin in the main entryway.  Thank you for helping those in need!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Good Samaritan Ministries is in need of volunteers to sort donated clothing on Tuesday afternoons between 1:00-3:00pm.  If you are interested in helping, please contact the Good Sam office at 224-801-8359, and someone will contact you.  Many hands make light work!

UPDATE: You may have noticed the donation trailer was closed last fall due to construction to move the food pantry to the first floor, The donation trailer is now open for donations of GENTLY USED CLOTHING ONLY.  We no longer have space for general household items.

All are invited to an open house to see the new and improved food and clothing pantry at the annex.  The open house will be held on Sunday, February 9, from 9:00am (following the 8:00am service) to 11:00am (before the 10:30am service).  Treats will be served.  We are thankful to the properties committee for their hard work in moving walls and installing new lighting and flooring, all conveniently located on the first floor of the annex.
