Romans 12:10 - Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves: Christ calls us to serve and care for others.  We believe in the importance of giving and receiving care as a reflection of our faith.

Pastoral Care

Pastoral care at Immanuel goes beyond Sunday. While we love to hear from you on Sunday, we welcome listening to you throughout the week as well. Pastoral care covers more than delivering sermons at the weekend services.  If we cannot personally meet your needs, we will be happy to recommend someone who can!

Baptisms, Weddings, and Funerals

Baptisms, weddings, and funerals all have something in common: all are immensely important events in people’s lives and are treated as such at Immanuel.  In each case, we will personally walk you through the process.  If you have any questions or simply want more information, please contact the Church Office at immanuel@ilcp.org or 847-359-1549.

Good Samaritan Ministry

Good Samaritan Ministries is a witness of the presence of Jesus to all individuals and families at Immanuel, the Palatine areas, and selected missions. Our ministry is to those whose needs range from urgent to dire by responding in the following core areas:  assessment of needs, referrals, food, clothing and financial assistance.

Keep in Touch Ministry (K.I.T.)

The KIT ministry is designed to reach young adults in college, graduate or doctorate programs, and members of the Military as a way to keep in touch and let them know the Church cares and remembers them, letters and e-gift cards are sent four times per year.

GriefShare

GriefShare is a support group for people grieving the death of a family member or friend.

Meal Ministry

The Meal Ministry is under the umbrella of Care Ministry. Its mission is to serve those who are in need of extra assistance at critical times by providing meals.

Advent Calendars for Homebound

Each year we make Advent calendars for Immanuel members who are homebound. We need your help creating these calendars and delivering them to our homebound in time for the Advent season.  It’s a fun project for individuals and families alike.
