Thank you to the 46 volunteers who helped make our first day of Adventure Bible Camp so great!
Today’s camp happenings:
- In crafts, we started to make jellyfish that will take shape as the week progresses!
- Our snack was Noah’s Ark — graham crackers, animal crackers, fruit loops, pretzel sticks, mini-pitas and blue cream cheese.
- We played a game working as teams to capture sea creatures!
- The 4th and 5th Graders served God and Immanuel by planting and watering geraniums outside the church. The flowers look beautiful in their new homes! Thank you to Fred Seibert for helping to oversee the planting!
- We learned songs and the theme song for our week! AND MORE!
- Bible memory verse: Psalm 139:1
At Deep Sea Discovery, children are diving into God’s Word and experiencing God’s presence in their
lives firsthand. The Bible tells us that God is with us and will watch over us wherever we go! (Genesis 28:15) Today campers learned that God KNOWS them! God knew Noah’s heart, and saved him and his family from a great flood. God knows us too! He sees everything we do. And we can serve God by doing the right thing—just like Noah.
